got a kitty again. Ive almost always owned (owned?!?! quite the reverse if you know what I mean) a cat throughout my life--at least one, a lot of times two, and sometimes keeping as many as a whole litter. cats are so cool, and theres just something about their actions that makes me wonder what going on behind those bright kitty eyes. its like they know stuff [secrets] and laugh at us humans.

when I moved in this house I was catless for a few months. was actually a good thing then cuz I was mildly broke (too poor to afford gas/cigs/life-in-general let alone litter or cheap dry cat food). then my ex-wife's son found me what I wanted: a black kitty. I named him Salem.

flash forward to the time I had to put him out; big dumb stupid cat wouldnt stay in the house. every time the door opened he'd mad-dash out. wouldnt really be a problem cept he'd return a day or two later with roughly eight hundred thousand fleas rummaging around in his fur. so he is still nearby--guess the neighbor took pity on him and gave him a place to live. thats cool, I really dug that critter.

been a few years since Salem been in this house. been about a week since Salem Two came.

Salem Two. what a beautiful animal. bright green healthy eyes, slender and slick bod, beautiful soft black fur (a tiny tiny patch of dark gray under his chin, and a really fantastic disposition.

he aint figured out that my lap is a great place to be, but I believe he'll be a lap cat soon.

anyway, thats today's news--I went and got myself a new kitty and I'm really pleased with him.

thanks for yer time and have whatever kind of day that'd please ya......

until we meet again, if you'd please.

:)
