this is a kinda good flick even with the anticlimactic-ish ending. standard man-woman-stranded-cheap-hotel-crazy-people-chasing thing, but it held my attention. I wouldnt "rush" out and get this movie, but Id watch it again if it were on...maybe 6 1/2 dead babies.

in related news, blockbuster raised the rent. what Ive had for the last year [unlimited mailed movies--3 out at a time, unlimited trade-ins--I take the mailed movies to blockbuster and swap for an instore flick--, and one coupon a month good for either a flick or a game, all for $17.99]. not a bad deal. but they changed the pricing structure. the 17.99 deal is almost the same, cept for the trade-ins. I can only swap 5 movies a month instead of unlimited. well...that wont fly. I looked at my rental history and I go through at least 10+ exchanges a month...so for the extra seven bucks, now $24.99, I gotta upgrade to the more expensive plan. still...for that 25 bucks a month, I get at least 30 movies (of my choice) and when I get ink for the printer, Ill get a game monthly, too...

its still worth it. cheap cable is prolly $50, and whats that get me besides commercials and repeats of golden girls and The Farm Report? Ill stick with blockbuster, thank you vey much.

okay, gotta shower and go to a surprise bd party...and act like I dont know it was planned. wish me luck, k?

until we yak again
