odd little movie, based on a true story (loosely based, Id have to say, cuz anyone who'd know what actually happened at the scene ended up dead) and I just said yesterday or the day before I dont care for gore-for-gore sake flicks, then this little gem comes along which is just that. ya got a stranger in the woods corralling women for wifely duties. not sex so much although he does slip one chick the bone, but he keeps one woman (two, later in the movie) for washing the few pots used for cooking and to tend the garden. he bashes 'em pretty good, then fixes the wounds with herbs and stuff so she (they) can continue washing and gardening. overall, a slow movie, plotwise, but some of the stuff this dude does is total toe-curler material. I wouldnt rush out for this one, but if its on, mize'well watch it for the bloodfest.

yesterday we didnt get to the toilet portion of this job. we tore up a floor to replace leaky water lines leading to the washing machine and man what a crazy issue this turned (turning) out to be. the damn thing, we still cant figure out what held the floor in place--damn thing shoulda fell into the basement.
