my baby is loosing her hair on her back by her tail. Cat (her name was Salem but I changed it to Cat) and I've looked high and low for a cheap answer. I cannot afford a vet so if I cant find the answer online, Im afraid Ill have to put a bullet in her head. [kidding.......]

seems high anxiety causes hair loss, as does food. think Ill try a new type of cat chow. as for anxiety, I dont have a clue what might cause it, nor do I know what or how to fix it.

Jinn, by Matthew Delaney, is simply an awesome book. ...but... theres a record amount of adverbs on the pages. one example: spread over two paragraphs, the word slowly appears 3 times. I counted and its like 35 words. and throughout the book its pretty much like that all the time. know what? the fucking story is so good its not even an issue. personally, Ive always thought that adverb-hatred was overrated. if not overused, then I believe adverbs can add a nice dimension to a story. even when overused (or abused, as in Delaney's case), they can serve a bit of a purpose. maybe not as a power tool, but at least as a filler to make for fuller sentences.

course, Im no expert.

also, another odd thing in Delaney's book. I dont recall seeing one semicolon. I really wasnt looking at first, but somewhere along the line I noticed places where commas were used that I'd prolly'd popped a semicolon. so anyway, I kinda kept an eye out for one and aint seen a hair of one.

strange? you be the judge.

theres a huge fucking hole 'tween my bathroom and bedroom. I finally got the wall out. matter of fact, some of that wall is burning in the woodstove as we speak. and man what a difference. I cant wait til its done. Ill have a really groovy bathroom. and with the hot water tank directly below, theres hot water as soon as you hit the handle--which is just the coolest thing ever.

I'm gonna move the toilet over about a foot (give more room in front of the shower) and put a 3 foot cabinet next to it, and then the washer/dryer. it'll be very nice when its framed/drywalled/painted.

thinking of a charcoal grey color. I put on a pair of socks the other day and the color was this rich grey. I believe that if I can decide on a trim color that goes along well, Ill do the bath in that same grey and hope it doesnt look like a bbq briquette.

okay, back to Jinn.
I hope to hell I dont leave this entry on private mode
