Hi!! How wre you? Now, I studied about Asia in my English class. And I learned that non Asians have some general impressions of Asian society. There are 6 impressions. Groupism, Avoidance of confrontation, Superstition, The power of authority, Public face, and The concept of "face". I think the most important of these in Japan are Groupism , and the power of authrity. Because in Japan, almost junior and senior high schools have school uniforms. I think in foreign couties, few shools have uniforms maybe. This is the typical example of Groupism. Next, in a company, the boss has absolute power, and almost salarymen can't oppose him. If they oppose their boss, maybe they will not be able to be promoted. this is the typical example of the power of autority.
