So this is what it feels like to have a blog. I have to admit, it's a lot like working at Little Caesar's and being the one who has to hold the sign on the corner that says, "Hot and Ready--$5!"

Not that I know anything about that.

A little about me--'cause what's the point of having this thing if I'm not going to pimp myself on it?--I'm a spec fic writer, marginally published, though I'm working to improve on that. During the day I languish in a call center where I'm known as the one who sends the funny emails . . . oh, and as the management-lackey, pointy-haired-boss spy.

Not that the term is incompatible with my job.

I have cats who shed mightily on my manuscripts, a husband who lets me have space to write when I get home from the day job, a computer from the dark ages, and books stacked to the ceiling in every room. What else could I possible need?

Contracts, moola, and fame notwithstanding.

So this is me, trying to figure out my place in life, the universe and everything. Watch this space, you know, if you like car accidents or peeling your bandaids off fast.
