Weekends

I love weekends. Weekends are even better now that I don't work on Saturdays at 6 in the morning. My job has become incredibly stressful over the last few months, but more specifically over the last couple of weeks, since the 4th, really, and I've found myself grinding my teeth at night and suffering more migraines than usual, usual being about 1 a year.

I've had two in the last month.

The only saving grace, really, is my immediate boss, who knows we're under a tremendous amount of strain and tries to do whatever she can to make it bearable for us. Her boss, however, is Clueless.

No relation. (Apologies; it's an in-joke, and a tired one at that.)

It probably wouldn't be so bad except that I'm simultaneously attempting to train two Newbies to the job, after we were allowed to hire a 4th person, and then one of the Original Three was promoted out of the department.

It's, ummm, interesting.

But that's enough whinging. What I really wanted to say was that weekends are about the best invention known to man (and woman). But sometimes I really wished I lived in France.

Besides, I hear they have bitchin' Freedom Fries there.
