This cool timeline is something I ran across before, and liked then, especially as a basic guide for fiction writing in various time frames, a jumping off place for further research.

Some interesting facts (one assumes the veracity of such things has been established, although further research may be indicated) include links to the origin of ice cream, waffles, and French toast--all happening a lot earlier than I would have expected. It's pretty cool.

And makes me want more breakfast.
