I started back at work this past Monday. Folks were happy to see me, and I was glad (in a perverse way) to get back to it, since I was beginning to suffer from boredom . . . not a fatal case, just "There's only so much taking-it-easy I can stand before I go stircrazy." But, man, I'm exhausted. I'd forgotten how tiring work could be, despite it being a desk job.

And my cats miss me.
