A random word generator, with a shareware version. It takes a little getting used to, and I haven't figured it all out yet, but it allows you to generate random words containing certain strings of letters, or certain componenets (like a vowel-consonent-vowel construction.)

Most of the words I've generated so far have been made up words, like:

Lyppogulong
Riphony
Cabuths

Which may look like real words (okay, maybe not Lyppogulong, unless it was some here-to-fore unknown species of fat burner that's used only by Austrailian tennis players) but aren't.

But there's an option for only allowing real words, too. On that, I got:

taches: Short for mustache, or more than one instrument for measuring the speed of rotation.

stricks: A bunch of hackled flax prepared for drawing into slivers. (Hackled meaning combed with a heckle.)

tulles: A fine (often starched) net used for veils or tutus or gowns.

Raise your hand if you already knew these words.

New toys are fun!
