Proper Celebrations

Like many of you out there, I do not celebrate Jes*s on a Stick Day. If I did, though, I cannot imagine more appropriate celebratory festivities than creating this sugary abomination.

I myself think Peeps offer a whole panorama of neon squishiness into an otherwise colorless planet. Peeps come in traditional yellow, blue, pink, lavendar and white. From my own delving into Pep art (Mysteries of the Bible, a la marshmallow), I also know they come in various sizes, and you can get bunny ones, too. According to this article, it used to take 27 hours to create one Peep chick, and their eyes were painted on by hand. Now it takes 6 minutes, and eyes are produced at a rate of 3800 a minute.

Peeps are used for badminton, have their own website, have traveled the world, starred in several movies, recitals, and the p0rn industry.

But they're just like you and me, really. They get married, enjoy jewelry, toys, protest unethical treatment of their kind and like to party down with the best of them.

Peeps. They are all of us.
