So, I'm looking for a new job again. I hate looking for a new job. I don't like filling out applications, or being interviewed, or the tension in my gut every time the phone rings.

I mean, I get enough rejection from short story markets to tide me, you know?

Anyway. Looking for a new job, 'cause this newest one has turned out to be a money sink (which anyone could have told me, with gas prices the way they are, and I think a few people did) and with no hope of advancement for at least another four months, despite the claims to the contrary when I first signed on. Since the wallet (and the new mortgage) can't take that, I'm looking for something closer to home. With reliable air conditioning would be nice. And without a schedule that keeps me from going to Wordos. But this is only until I've made it big selling all those novels, and maybe some film options, see?

And then I get a pony.
