Okay, I know I've been a bad toad, and haven't put up any pictures of the garden, huge whomping mega-producing thing that it is. Reason being, we still don't have that digital camera, and the scanner is, um, being darkly, and frankly I don't take pictures of stuff as a rule. Unless it's one of my boyz, cuz cats are cute.

But trust me on this: we have a lot of veggies.

We've got corn (mostly still growin') and broccoli (all over but the shoutin') and summer squash, a few pumpkins getting all orangey, and then there's the super produce, the cherry tomatoes ripening by the quart, and beefsteaks reddening like mad, the wax beans, green beans and purple beans I don't even remember the name for, the lemon cukes, the regular cukes, the zucchini, the blackberries, and the very-nearly-ripe-for-the-picking-and-then-saucing-or-canning pears, figs, apples and . . . whew.

We so need a freezer.
