Okay, so we moved into the house a year ago, and about a week after we had the furnace cleaned, it conked out on us. The company who'd "cleaned" came back and fixed it at no charge. I neglected to get the blarning thing cleaned this winter, and it just conked out on us again, according to The Husband, who's at home, whilst I train Yet Another Newbie on late hours, at my work.

We can pay beaucoup bucks to have the furnace folks come out on a weekend, or we can fire up the woodstove and pile on blankets, and ask our guests (tonight, for gaming) to do the same. It's due to be in the mid to low 40's this evening, with a projected low of 32, so not quite freezing. So guess which we're gonna do?

Hope everyone brings gloves . . . those dice-tossing fingers can get mighty cold.
