The next door neighbors have been upgrading their house. They cut down the tree, so the afternoon sun now bakes us both (so glad winter is just around the corner, but next summer....)

Then they tore out the lawn, with plans to re-sod it.

They haven't done the lawn (sensibly enough) because they are re-painting the house. Yellow. YELL-LOW, I tell you, eye-popping yellow. With plans for antique rose shutters.

Must be some kind of security measure. Strike the burglars blind so they hit the house next door instead. Where are the culture nazis when you need them?
