I've been collecting slips of the tongue for a while, and it's time to share a few of them with you:

1. Anticdote--I guess this is what you can a really wild story with lots of capering around and weird gestures, in an effort to counteract the shaman's incantations.

2. Escape goat--I guess when someone is going to blame everything on one person, that person can jump on his escape goat and ride off into the sunset.

3. Wolf in cheap clothing--heaven forbid he should pay for Harris tweed!

4. A pigment of her imagination--she has a very colourful inner life.

5. A man of great statute--only if he's a burly politician.

6. And my all-time favorite is the punchline to a joke:
I'm not so much under the affluence of incohol as some thinkle peep--I mean, pinkle theep.

Well, it's funny when you say it out loud. "Pardon me, madam, but is this pie occupewed?"
