White, male, Republican. Did you expect anything else? There are no women, no Democrats, no persons of other ancestry whom Bush could/would nominate. I wonder which power broker made the call.

P.S. And I forgot about the legacy issue. The nominee is young enough to anchor the conservative side of the Court for at least 2 more generations.
