1. Laundry--wash, dry, fold, put away
2. Groceries--buy, bring into house, put away
3. Make up Meds for RT
4. Nap (45 minutes)
5. Prep for dinner--peel potatoes, cut up veggies, marinate beef roast
6. Dishes--load and run dishwasher, put away clean dishes
7. Make dinner (oven keeps kitchen nice and warm)
8. Eat, clear table, wipe down counters, sweep kitchen floor (what the dog doesn't hoover up)--Parkinson's patient spills a lot.
9. Bring in mail, sort and distribute
10. Finish reading Bujold book. Continue reading another partially completed book (new year's resolution--finish what I start). Simultaneously, provide lap for cat, ear skritches for dog.
11. Make breakfasts and lunches for the coming week. Freeze leftovers.
12. Feed and water the cats and the dog.

This is a pretty typical Saturday around here. The pace is halfway between indolent and frenzied. I get a lot done, in preparation for the coming week. Since I'm working at my own pace, it's relaxing as well as productive.

Note to self: remember this day's journal entry when RT accuses me of always having my 'nose in a book'.
