"Over the weekend, the Boston Globe revealed that Pat Robertson's law school, Regent University, has had 150 of its graduates hired in the Justice Department since 2001, including the recently resigned Monica Goodling.

That figure of 150 represents a full 6th of Regent's graduates in the just 10 years since it was accredited in 1996. Furthermore, Regent is ranked in the 4th (and lowest) tier of law schools by U.S. News World Report. Note that these positions are not political appointees, but career civil servants.

The only conclusion that can be drawn from this is that the Bush administration is willing to hire mediocre and inexperienced lawyers (such as Monica Goodling, who served as one of Alberto Gonzales's top aides despite having only a few years of experience) in order to pack the Justice department with people in-line with the Bush administration's philosophies."
