Green symbolizes my hope for rain this year, bringing green growth to the hillsides after the dry yellows and browns of summer. There was enough moisture in the air recently to produce a brilliant rainbow, but no rain.

Dan Gent took a picture of the rainbow and messaged it to me. Wish I knew how to upload it to my computer; I'd like to share it with you.

At night it's too hot to sleep without a fan. But with the fan blowing, it's too cold without a sheet. Get under the sheet, and it's too hot again. Right at that inbetween temperature. Now if it were just a few degrees cooler, it would be perfect.
