For three solid weeks now the weather predictions have been 78, 85, 88 and recycle 85, 78, 88 and recycle....

Meanwhile the actual high temps have ranged from 92 to 98 with stops in between.

I don't know if the weather person is just an intern who is posting what used to be the average temps for the day--or an idiot who has experience but is too lazy to actually check and is just dropping numbers over and over, collecting his paycheck and going home.

Whichever it is, the daily forecasts have become a local joke.

"Heard any good new ones lately?"
