Three-Day Weekend
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Read/Post Comments (3)

I must say, the three-day weekend seems to have addled my brain. Too much R and R? I started this entry, then before saving it, I did a Google search and poof! entry gone.

Anyway, as I was saying, a three-day weekend is far superior to a regular Saturday and Sunday, during which the usual chores have to be done: laundry, shopping, groceries, preparation of the week's breakfasts and lunches, cat box duty, etc.

On the third day, it's wonderful to have time for true relaxation and restorative activities (or non-activities, as you prefer): napping, walking, reading, gardening, day tripping to a festival or to the beach, whatever.

I'm much more energized today, as a result: Excelsior!
