Some days you just don't know what to expect. Take today, for instance. It's not a legal holiday, so we may be just as busy as ever.

On the other hand, it's a major religious holy day, and people will wait until tomorrow to call with concerns, problems, complaints, aggravations, and so forth.

Every once in a while, I get a thank you. Makes my day.

The rooster who lives across the street from our office--I hear him in the pre-dawn dark, announcing himself to the world--has just heralded the dawn.

My data entry clerk (bless her!) made a nice fresh pot of coffee.
