Coffee

[sip] It smelled so divine. As I walked past the demo counter at TJ's yesterday, they had a freshly brewed small pot of their Pumpkin Spice coffee ready to pour. I didn't sample it (now I wish I had), but I bought a can of it just on the promise of the fabulous aroma.

I don't like flavored coffees, usually, though this is one of the better flavored coffees I've tried. Since it's the only coffee in the house (apart from instant and you know how desperate I'd have to be to drink that), I'm sipping from a mug poured from the pot I just brewed.

Maybe I'll serve it to friends who drop by for a visit. They will be too polite to say if they don't like it.

And tomorrow when I hit my local Starbuck's on the way to work I can pick up some of the good stuff. They'll even grind it for me. And a few packets of Via (their house brand instant) for emergencies such as this.

[sip] It's drinkable, just barely. I wonder if B (my housemate) will like it? She's a fan of French Roast brewed in a coffee press after being freshly ground, so I expect not.

Such is the life of a coffee connoisseur. Always a drama.
