Yesterday's loaf was 9-grain whole grain bread, with olive oil and herbs. I took it with me to a friend's house for dinner. Always like to bring something, and a loaf of freshly baked bread accompanied by a bottle of a good Merlot pretty much pleases everybody (not to mention me, too).

Today I'm debating what kind of bread to bake for myself, since I'm out of bread (quelle dommage!). Maybe whole grain and nut?

I have a question for you. The yeast I have in the refrigerator was frozen at one point. Did the freezing kill it or will it still be fruitful and multiply? I guess the only thing to do is give it a try and see.

The rest of the day should be pretty quiet after feeding myself and the cats. I'm still dealing with the head cold.
