The hall closet is next on the list to be emptied, sorted, re-organized. It leers at me on my way from the bedroom to the bathroom, showing a toothy grin. "Ha, ha, my pretty. Soon you will be mine." [and my little doggie?]

I've done everything I can imagine to procrastinate. Usually I take my daily shower in the afternoon (when it's warmer) but today I took it first thing in the morning. Brushed my teeth. Made the bed. Cleared off the bathroom counter.

I cleaned the coffee pot. I swept the kitchen floor. I straightened up the living room. I fed the cats and cleaned the litter box. Looked up a recipe for dinner to see if I have all the ingredients--yes.

Reading is for the afternoon. I'll be done with this entry and my email in half an hour or so. And I have run out of Other Things To Do.

Drat. I may have to clean that closet TODAY unless you all have some other procrastination suggestions (cras is the Latin word for tomorrow). Help. I need somebody. Help. Won't you please please help me? [is this copyright infringement?]

Maybe listening to the Beatles will make the work less onerous.
