This week, 56% of the country is experiencing drought. Crops are withering in the fields. Intense heat has caused roads to buckle. People have died from heat stroke. Over 90 wildfires scorch lands west of the Mississippi. Crazy wind storms caused massive damage.

High temperatures have set all-time records, making global warming pretty obvious. Approximately 22% of corn and soybean crops are in poor or very poor condition, as are 43% of the nation's pastures and rangelands and 24% of the sorghum crop.

What's ahead? Huge price jumps for beef, pork, poultry, dairy.
