Fair weather, temps to top out at 76, taxes done (going to get a modest return), and looking forward to visiting the Getty Museum today (Vermeer exhibit). Life is good, and I am grateful.

Woke up to the sound of the trash trucks heard in our land, and the smell of coffee brewing. It's amazing how satisfying the little blessings can be. I know someone who is constantly dissatisfied because he can't go on a cruise and he is frustrated because he wants a major sound system in his house.

He misses out on all the little good things that happen if you watch for them.
