Well, Journalscape doesn't know what's up with the vulgarity filter. They aren't censoring (see reply from them, below).

I have never turned on, nor would I ever turn on any software that would restrict the free flow of my potty mouth. This should be common knowledge. I am going to have a MacGeek friend tell me what the fuck. Or what the f***, in my case.

Wow, I've never seen that before. We certainly aren't doing anything
like that here at JournalScape. It must be something on your Mac, but
I can't imagine what. Did someone else setup your Mac for you? Could
they possibly have installed or turned on some filtering software?
That's a weird one.
