I'm not sure it's blog-appropriate etiquette, but I just went back and read through about 6 months' worth of entries. Trip city.

I like most of what I wrote, mostly because I like the style. I like the wit, the vigor, the vividness. The entries I don't like are those that describe my anxiety or my decisions that now seem either much less dire than I made them out to be, or much stupider than I thought they were back when I decided them. No one likes to be reminded of their innate stupidity, that kind that comes with being a human in a body on this planet.

Sometimes it seems like someone else wrote what I was reading. So smart, or so inane, or just so weird. I mean, did anyone get the Little Twelvetoes reference? That's arcane.

I'm braindead tonight, but had to get this down. I'm sure I'll think it's stupid when I re-read it, six months from now.
