Things to do in Seattle/Tacoma when it rains, which is 80% of the time:

- go to a movie (IMAX, if you can)

- shoot guns (at a range; if you're depressed please choose something else from the list)

- file all those papers in the "to be filed" pile that is taking over your office

- walk in the rain, Neil Sedaka style

- hole up in a warm coffee shop with a good book, or Guns & Ammo, or an AF technical manual (hee hee, Cajun)

- fire up the woodstove and watch a good movie at home (naked preferred)

- cook a rib-sticking, down-home meal of comfort food

- laundry, grocery shopping, errands, ugh

- go out on the deck with a cup of tea and watch the water birds diving for stuff

- listen for fog horns (it's foggy today)

- take a deep breath and appreciate it all
