I was ride leader this morning, and NO ONE SHOWED UP. A few women in my riding group had courteously called to express their regrets at not being able to make it, but fully 4 others didn't say a word. I called cell phones; no answers. I am not going to be all pissed off, but I think next season I won't take on any ride leadership duties.

And now, thank goodness, I have some time to putter, the thing I like best.
