The shame, the shame

I picked up my sister's oldest and her two friends at the ferry dock, and proceeded to take them and a million pounds of crap to Leavenworth.

And then, it happened.

My sister and I figured out how to work the karaoke machine.

O.

M.

G.

I've never done karaoke. Can't handle the shame. But, after two Mike's Hard Lemonades, the teenagers fled to the basement and my sister and I torched it up in the living room.

The River. Somewhere Out There. Endless Love. I Don't Know How to Love Him. Killing Me Softly. Nothing Compares 2 U.

All I could think, besides that I was singing karaoke when I said I never would, is that somehow those three 16-year-old girls would find a way to videotape us.

I'll let you know when we make our YouTube debut.

Until then, it's back to the addiction. Paradise By The Dashboard Light, anyone?
