Necco Mints, now in Raspberry!

Tis the season of housesitting here at the Cove. I'm responsible not only for my two charming little feline poop machines, but for M's two cats and two rats, as well as H's tabby. No sweat there, don't mind a bit, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

But my landlady somehow believes that I am so nice I won't have any problem distributing her Necco Mints and Xmas cards to tenants who happened not to be home when she drove down here. Seriously, she knocked on my door, handed me my candy and card, and then said, "these other folks aren't home, I wonder if you'd mind giving these to them when you see them?"

Point #1: I almost never see my neighbors. Between their schedules, my schedule, their travels, and our collective reclusive natures, I guarantee she sees them more often than I do. Now I have to hunt them down to give them skanky Necco Mints.

Point #2: Nobody wants Necco Mints (whether they be Raspberry or Orange).

Point #3: I'm going to be bouncing from one thing to another this week and just don't want to deal with trying to knock on doors (which one is C's house? Which is J's?) so people can get their skanky Necco Mints.

However, it's possible I'm going to be dropping a huge (information) bomb on the landlady come spring, so I just smiled and said, "Oh, sure" and then, "Oh, I almost forgot, I have to go feed H's cat! Gotta go!"

Necco Mints. Do these come from the dollar store?

I'm off to clean the rats' cage. Utterly preferable to tracking down people to give them something they probably don't want.

Ugh. But I think the rats have cable.
