Beginning with yesterday's thorough treatment massage and chiropractic adjustment, I am happy to announce that my low back pain is going away.

I'm not out of the woods yet. Every morning is interesting as I roll over to get out of bed and assess the pain. There is always some. My progress is measured by noting that the pain is less than yesterday, or that the pain I have upon waking dissipates more quickly during my morning non-routine.

I've still not put the elliptical trainer back together. (Perhaps on Sunday, when I'm done singing about Jeezus.) I haven't gotten back into a stretching and hanging-upside-down regimen. But I feel that it is just about time. Hell, my body must be itching for activity if I'm contemplating riding my bicycle on a twenty-mile r/t commute several time a week. And frankly, the increased light will only help. Nothing like northern-latitude living to depress you in the winter and make you hyper in the summer. You try calming down when there are 16 hours of daylight!

Tonight it's just LOST or CSI, my comfy bed with three brand new pillows, and kitty time. Oh yes, and let's not forget a call from Coffee Boy.

Here's to the hope of waking refreshed. Ahhhhhh.
