Some of the reasons I love my friend Linder:
- she opens her home to me at any time, for months at a time, if need be
- she can play by ear anything on the piano
- she is twenty years older than I am, but she hikes circles around me
- she cooks vegan dishes that are full of flavor, and that make me love vegetables
- she has a heart that's as wide as the sky
- she loves Monty Python and never hesitates to launch into "hello, Polly!" at the drop of a hat
- she makes sure I have a fine Christmas dinner every year
- acerbic wit? Who? :-)
- she fits me under her wing rather nicely
