In a week I will be focused away from daily commuting, away from studying for a grade, away from south. I will be turning my eyes to routine of another sort, renewal, and north.

I will, as I have tried so many times, return to the hejira of simple. It's not about getting there, because that is unattainable. It's about the journey toward simple. The endless, worthy, looking within that transforms the without. More simple, not perfectly simple. Wabi sabi simple.
