Mood:
squirrels can be my friends

Tomorrow afternoon, I hand over my keys and my kitties. It seems there is so much left to do that I don't know how it will all come together (yet it will come together and then I'll wonder how I ever doubted the eventuality).

Thanks in advance to The Piper for doing the heavy lifting, literally. I so appreciate the help. My back also thanks you.

I've hidden the toys and locked up the medication and jewelry. The floors are clean, the cats have food and kitty litter, and the deck has been thoughtfully tidied (thanks, Rox). The mini rose that I rescued from a neighbor's garbage is about to bloom for the second time. The cupboards are clean; the fridge is not. Oh well, I can only do what I can do.

Still need to take apart the wooden bedframe and get it and the mattress in the car. I could leave it home, but how ever is a girl to entertain in a twin bed? Perish the thought.

Dinner with the parents tomorrow, a snuggle with CoffeeBoy (we are in a delightful detente), and then I'm off.

Off to the island. Off to see the lizard. Off.
