Switch day. Car and camping gear to mom's, sleepover in Snoho, bus trip home, pick up motorcycle, back to Orcas, buy groceries, head back to db.

Whew!

I've got banking to do. No branch within ten miles as the crow flies, or forty miles by car and ferry. I'll be mailing in my paychecks. Then a play day with CoffeeBoy, goody. I'll need a nap in there somewhere, and a trip to the post office, too. Oy.

At home, I'll be picking up my motorcycle and a few other things, like my hummingbird feeder. There are tons of hummingbirds up here and I want to make friends. I've already met the bunnies who live at Fallen Tree. Precious.

Rumor has it that my Netflix movies showed up in the db mail box on Saturday. When I went up the road to check, the mail of was empty. This means either that someone else really wanted to watch two CSIs and Pan's Labyrinth, or that a manager picked up the mail and forgot to distribute it before going to Seattle on a two-day holiday. I'm hoping it is the latter, as the former makes it difficult to find my movies. And who can go more than a week without Gil Grissom?!

I'm back on the muscle relaxers at night because the spasms are unrelenting right now. I have such resilient faith that they will ease eventually. My life is on the slow track now, and my stressors are few. When my back realizes this, I'll be much happier. I'm working on ab strengthening. I'm weak in the core (though not AT the core; there's a big difference).

Ferry's loading. Dispatch complete, for now.
