In American Sign Language, there is an idiom, the literal translation of which is "true business" or "true biz". Idiomatically, it means, "no lie", "that's for sure", "no joke!" or the like.

Well, I don't have a single booking (yet) for today. True biz.

It's a Friday, people, let's get on it. Book that trip to Relaxation Land, why don'tcha? Or I'm gonna be stuck finishing my laundry, cleaning my room, practicing the oboe, and possibly hiking. Oh, maybe not hiking; I don't want to stray too far, because what if someone books later in the day, as the ferries bring the tourists to our little enclave?

I'm hopeful. I better stick around. True biz.
