In four days, my walkie-talkies paid for themselves. I was sitting in Dreambox, folding and putting away clothes, when Jami called me on the walkies: “Jami to Elsa; do you have time for two one-hour massages this afternoon?”

Hell yes, I do! But FCC regulations prohibit profanity, so I simply replied in the neutral affirmative: “yes, I do!”

I’m tempted to think this bodes well for the whole summer, this spontaneous booking event, but then I remind myself that every day is different, and it’s only important that today I have made my personal quota of four massages.

That said, I did make tips on the first two gigs today. Whew.
