I thought I had something to say. All yesterday I was rattling things around my brainpan, while riding the motorcycle, and thinking I would have many juicy things to enter here.

No juice, really.

Pleasantly plaguing doggerel bits:

Riding alone, living alone, set free today, my mind picked this as its soundtrack:
Party of one
This way, your place is waiting
We've been expecting you
Party of wonderful, right on time
Just begun
party of one

I wrote bits and pieces of a song called "Looking Back on Lincoln", about when I lived there and when I left (twice). Exploration of how important we make things that aren't, and how we ignore the things that are. Dex will get this.

Made lists of things needing to be done, short term and long term. I really want to get outdoors and swim. It's too cold here, water's under 50 degrees F. I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, which is GREAT for hiking but not so great for finding other people to go places with, as they're all working. Some of my DB coworkers have T/W off, too, so maybe I can show them the swimming hole at Salmon La Sac. It'd be an overnight, for sure.

My bike is making a "tunk, tunk" noise when the engine is under load. The chain was loose, and tightening made the noise go away...for a day. Shit. I'll do my big ride, then Cajun and I will drop off my bike at the shop for a look-see. Like I have money for this. Oy vey. But since it's my principal mode of transportation, and a business deduction, I gotta bite the bullet and pay.

There are other squirrels At Play in the House of The Bored, but it's too much to entertain them now. Time to work, to stretch my body, and focus on my touch.

Oh, and the BF broke up with me, saying he's not ready for a relationship (then why did he say he'd be my BF, only last week?).

My back didn't hurt this morning.

"We don't need to be rescued, we just need to be loved." Heard in a song at DB.
