Uncle Bonsai. Not your Uncle!

My sister, niece and I saw Uncle Bonsai at the Sleeping Lady Retreat Center in Leavenworth tonight.
They still have it. I've seen them three times in the last little while, as well as enjoyed a brief chat on the ferry to Orcas with Andrew while he and his wife and assorted young people were on their way to play at Woodsong (one of the boys traveling with him was asking me if I was a hippie, and I said I guessed I was a folkie biker chick).
Uncle Bonsai, now with Andrew, Arni, and Patrice O'Neill, are going to be working on a new CD this winter. They sang a ton of new stuff, all of it absolutely up to your expectations for a UB performance. Look for it on Yellowtail Records. Get on the mailing list there!
I'm too tired to adequately describe the venue, the ambience, and the performance. More soon.
