The new landlady is cooler than the old one!
I get to take my cats, with a minimal deposit and a promise to not advertise their presence to others in the building. Um, DUH! I'm happy; over the moon, really.
I have help. My mother confirmed that I will have the assistance of two boys from her congregation (go, JWs!) on Sunday to unload the truck. My brother will help me load up on Sunday morning (yay, atheist sarcastics!) My bestest ever friend Cajun is arriving Friday night to help me (in oh, so many ways) until the party Saturday. Several other friends are making Sunday's car switch and U-Haul pick up a breeze for me. I'm in love with my friends and family right now.
I have work! Today I start my interpreting gig at the community college. I've got extra fill-in work today, as one interpreter is, unfortunately, ill this morning. Somewhere in there I have to get lunch, cat food, and dinner. That's all going to happen just fine.
I sold my Tempur-Pedic mattress! Someone is coming over from West Seattle tonight to buy it for $500 as is. I told him about the zipper not working on one corner of the cover, but not about some stains on the bottom of the cover. He's getting an $1800 mattress for $500; he can take it or leave it. I think he'll take it. I really do.

That's the news this morning. Life is busy, but it's all going to work out.
