I just looked at what I had on my to do list on the previous entry and I am proud to say that I did none of them.

Nope, not a one.

I did go to the horse show where my son rode barrels for the first time on his own horse.

I did not work crew for the show at the theatre. And you know what, they managed without me.

I did go to the water park and had a blast. I even went on the very high slides and chutes in spite of my overwhelming respect for heights.

Last week I came to the realization that for the past twelve months almost everything I have done has been to clean up or recover from Katrina. My yard still has places that have dead trees, branches and whatnot on the ground. My business is still recovering from the effects of a bad hurricane season and a mild flu season. But I am tired of just cleaning and recovering.

It is time to start living again.
