When we last left our heroine it was 6:23am

6:25-6:40 Bathe, get dressed, etc
7-7:30 commute to son's school
7:40-9:15 give flu shots to teachers at son's school

9:20-9:30 run in Target to pick up warmer clothes and breakfast for me
9:30-10 commute back to my office to get rid of the used needles from the flu shots, converse with husband about his responsiblities for after school

10-11:30 make daughter's lunch, check email, play solitaire
11:45-12:40 commute to New Orleans to take daughter and classmate to NOCCA

12:45-3:45 Wait for daughter to get out of class, eat lunch from food stash in car, take a 10 minute cat nap, read the paper, do the crossword, knit a little, go to UNO and pick up a book about "atypical" colleges for daughter to peruse

3:45-4:40 drive back to Slidell to drop off daughter and classmate at their homes

4:45-5:30 take a quick shower, make hamburger patties for grilling later, deal with son's angst about not going to a friend's house, make evening to do lists for the rest of the family

5:30-6:15 drive BACK to NOCCA for grade night

6:45 teacher at grade night says that all she needs to do is physically hand us the grade papers and then we can go ARRGH.

7-7:15 conference with teacher because I have driven too far to just pick up a piece of paper

7:15-8 drive back to Slidell

8-8:30 go back to a different Target to pick up the CD that Miss Teen must, must, must have tonight because it just came out

8:45-9 help son load his new binder and backpack

9:15 respond to son's impending request for yet another thing with "don't ask me for anything else, I am tired and I haven't had dinner" To which he replied, "can I ask for a kiss?" ahhhh

Now I am finally eating something.

And this was my day off.
