Conversation in the car yesterday afternoon:

Son:
Mom, when is December?
Me:
Friday
Son:
Isn't it tomorrow?
Me:
No, Friday.

Son:
I can't wait until December because then it will be almost Christmas.
Son:
I love Christmas

Pause, pause, pause

Son:
I love Christmans because it is Jesus' birthday.
Me:
That's a good reason.

Pause, Pause, Pause

Son:
Mom, When is Jesus coming back?
Me:
I don't know. (As I think, "Hopefully not today, my house is a mess")

Son:
Will Jesus have a car?
Me:
(Suppressing a giggle.) I don't know, I never really thought about it. (thinking, "Where did that come from?")

Son:
I hope he has a car so he doesn't have to ride an ass.
