As I suspected, work was painful today. I quickly decided not lift any babies to the exam table. Looking in ears was a tricky endeavor as I tried not to twist myself at all.
Hubby x-rayed my ribs at lunch and nothing is broken. (I knew that but he had to be appeased.) Interestingly, the most painful thing I had to do today was drive. Thank God for heated seats.

It is still busy, busy. Usually I can predict the state of the economy based on the busyness of this week before Christmas. If people are stretched for funds, they often put off their kids health needs to be able to pay for Christmas presents. If people are flush, we stay busy this week. Unfortunately I am not sure that is why we are busy. These kids are S.i.c.k. and these parents don't really have a choice about whether they can put off the visit.

At least when the kids are this sick they don't fight the exam and my back is spared.
