This is the Friday Five from RevGalPal blogs:

(Last week's was about joy, but I just could not get myself in that spot.)

What are you:

1. Wearing? Right this minute? Flannel pj pants that have Kellog Sugar Smacks logos all over them and a black oversized "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" tshirt.

2. Pondering? Whether I could just set a tape recorder to play a loop of "get dressed, brush your teeth, get off the computer, go back and dress appropriately, get your lunch, get in the car, you are late, take your medicines". By just having this play each morning I could sleep instead of fussing. I am pondering motherhood: what makes someone a mother, how we tap into our motherly intuition, and I am reflecting on the many mothers that I have met over the years and how they have blossomed.

3. Reading? Magazines. I can't seen to get my brain to focus on a novel. That started after the storm and hasn't gotten better yet.

4. Dreaming? OF being a mother who doesn't yell, a wife who doesn't feel jealous of music, ......or just a woman who is kinder to herself.

5. Eating? Not yet, excuse me while I go get my coffee.

How about you?
