Well, it’s official, I have the flu. In spite of my denial and rationalization, I still have the flu. I never ever get the flu. The first question my Doc asked was “Did you get a flu shot?” My response. “Why? I never ever get the flu.” Well, guess what? Never ever, happened. I have about 10 more days of feeling like death. Oh joy!
I do not have time to be sick, I haven’t begun to shop! I have work to do. I have to go to work. Although, it’s probably not a good idea. Working that is.

Twenty seven years ago today, 5:53 pm Timothy Aaron came into my life. He was almost named Jack Aaron. My dad, Jack talked me out of giving him that name; all I could think of was a song I really liked. Timothy was mentioned in the song, All I really remember was is it was about miners and cannibalism. Is it any wonder Tim grew up and became a horror fan? Tim has always been a joy, except for the couple of teen years when aliens inhabited his body. Thankfully the alien possession was short lived and my son was still in there. Tim and I grew up together. He helped me grow as much as I helped him. He was my light, my joy, my hope for the future. He truly was and remains one of my greatest blessings.
